My July 26 update marked the completion of the full map import. Since then, my focus has shifted from bringing the atlas into the project to polishing the world that was already imported.

That world-polish pass is now complete. Traversal across the maps is finished, Shift Gate travel and returns are working across the world, and the automap features have received their final cleanup. I have also completed the backdrops and interior spaces that give the imported locations their full setting and sense of place.

The difference between the two milestones is important: July 26 was about getting the complete map atlas into Arena Rebuilt; this update is about making those imported maps connected, consistent, navigable, and ready to use as a complete world.

My next step is to begin populating that world. I am getting ready to place NPCs and enemies into towns, interiors, wilderness areas, and dungeons so the finished spaces can begin to feel inhabited. That work will lead into the wider gameplay and quest systems as development continues.

There is still a lot to build and no public release yet, but the imported world is now polished and ready for its population pass.
